Others here said it leaks but I figured I would give it a try to see if it was a quality control issue. My unit was not any different. It did hold pressure for the first few pressure checks of a new system and then it failed miserably at 150psi and would not stop leaking from the safety relief valve. This is located right next to the adjustment screw. Its a shame since these units are used extensively at a major aerospace manufacturer where I work. I wonder if the Amazon ones are rejects? Save yourself the trouble because it might fail past the return window. Look elsewhere or purchase directly from Coilhose.I needed a pressure regulator that could handle higher pressure than 150 PSI like most others. Its built well and gives good instructions for how to maintain it.. The larger inlet and outlet allows unrestricted air flow. The dual ports for the pressure gauge allowed options for mounting. Nice metal housing instead of plastic like some other regulators.I had recently purchased a large air compressor to replace my old one. I tried to use my old regulator but it couldn't handle the pressure of my new one so I purchased this one which has the capacity to handle my compressor. It works fine so far and I'm satisfied with the quality and price that I paid.Working well after about one year.I have been running one of these for about a year, where others have failed in the same environment in a few weeks to a few months. THe one I installed a year ago is still working perfect so recently upgraded some more of my regulators to the same model.Total junk. At high flow this thing gets a harmonic howl that will drive you nuts. That's not completely uncommon as I've experienced the same with other regulators, but this heap of excrement leaks air past the bypass constantly. It leaks air all the time so my compressor kicks on several times throughout the day, every day even if you aren't using any air tools. Don't throw your money away like I did.Just like others have said, regulator leaks air past the bypass constantly, will not hold set pressure . Good construction on the outside if you need a paper Weigt.Worked perfect to raise my line pressure up to 150psi. Didn't ship with the gauge, but one call to Coilhose Pneumatics and they sent one out to me. Great product.Worked okay for a few days then all of a sudden doesn't keep the set pressure and leaks all the time, if had known that I wouldn't have bought and went to a better one off the get go.Great quality and well made, no complaintsjust the right pressure settigs
